That’s an interesting test. A few of this summer’s books almost didn’t make it to page 69 because the beginnings weren’t very good. It makes me wonder if I had gone to page 69 and read that page, whether I would more happily have endured the previous 30 some that were bothersome. Thanks for a great post!

I usually give a book 50 pages but, after starting this, I’ve wondered if I’d just held out a little bit longer would I have changed my mind? 😀
